It's been a long time coming but summer has finally reached us in the Northwest. I have been on a mini blog-cation but I'm armed with pictures and details from our summer adventures.
We headed East (to Idaho) for some warm weather and sunshine in June. Silverwood theme park was our destination for four days. There are some seriously awesome rides and a fabulous water park. I rode all but one of the rides...don't like the dropping to your death feeling at all! Mookie and her Dad enjoyed the craziness four or five times. NO WAY!
Do you see this crazy thing. NO!
We had so much fun that the Boys are heading back in a few week for a father son weekend.
My darling hubby and I walked and took hikes everyday. Here we stopped near Ellensburg...the kids opted to stay in the car?.?. Whatever!
We arrived home just in time for the forth of July Parade and Fireworks show that evening. Mookie and the girls marched again this year.
Our next big adventure was the Katy Perry Concert in Seattle. Mookie and I spend the whole day shopping and enjoying the city. Had a fabulous dinner (GF and vegetarian), Starbucks, then off to the show. AWESOME!!!!! We had so much fun, bought these cute headbands ($20.00ea..what was I thinking?) I guess we got all caught up in Katy histeria. So many people dressed up, it was very cool.
This cloud platform floated out across the entire floor. Can't wait for her to come back to the area..she had a great show. Great costumes, lazer lights, dancers, and blue hair!
Now your all caught up!
